Customer Review: I have had this vacuum for over 2 months and very glad I purchased. I’ve had other handhelds in the past but none of them have the sucking strength this has. It does make it a bit louder but I can handle that for the strength of suck.Most of the additional tools are for the blow function which works very well. I wish it had a smaller attachment for sucking to get in small places. I use it to clean out my Rumba, but if I take it outside and hit it with the blow attachments, it takes care of all the small cracks in seconds. I also use to clean cat and dog hair out of small places and it works great. It is great for cleaning car as this is what most of the attachments are made for.I like the storage case for all the attachments. It could use a zipper pocket to keep them more secure vs the mesh elastic pocket. There are some small pieces for car cleaning that fall out of the pocket.I keep it on the charging cord most of the time so it is ready for any use. The highest power does run out I would say within 10-15 minutes of constant uses. I usually stop in between so I am not sure on this timeframe. I love that the filter is washable for longer use. Just clean after every use.Overall, this is a fantastic little vacuum that will get all of your quick needs. I have already suggested it for a tool at work!

So it’s easy to carry and move or to hold on to even while using it, though the hose is nice and long so I just set it down and didn’t have any problem reaching anything, or quickly moving it when I needed a longer reach.The instructions mention not putting the rug cleaning detergent in the tank so I used a spare sprayer to spray the detergent and pre-treat the areas I was using this on, which worked just fine.The clean water tank is easy to open and remove as needed, as well as the dirty water tank.This unit has an amazing amount of suction. And it sprays a goodly amount of treatment water onto the surface.I was really impressed at the suction and how well it was vacuuming up the dirty water from the carpeting or upholstery, as previous cleaners I had only did a halfway job of this. And this is important so the carpet or upholstery isn’t moist for long periods of time and doesn’t mildew.The dirt water tank certainly had a lot of material in it, so I know it was doing a good job of cleaning. And after the carpet and upholstery was finished and totally dried it was VERY obvious that it had done a great job of it.It’s very easy to use, and to treat and clean the surface you are using it on, as I said above there is plenty of hose and it’s quick and easy to go back and forth on the rug or upholstery as needed to get it clean.Sound level is fine. The hose cleaner part is a little piece to put on the end when you pull the nozzle off (press the little release pin to take the very end off), this circulates water back through the hose to clean it. That seems to do a really good job of it, the entire hose and end and farther down. And I wonder why all rug cleaners don’t have something similar.Cleaning the tank and the parts inside is easy, requiring a dumping and just a rinsing of the parts – which come out easier – and the tank and drying it all.I’ve tried this rug/upholstery cleaner on the side of some furniture, and on multiple spots on carpeting with obvious visual and smell, on car upholstery where I spilled a protein drink, it cleaned the thick milky substance of just as well as anything. And on a recovered bench which had previous cat puke on it that we hadn’t noticed and had dried.This also has a 2-year full warranty. It seems to be built very well but of course it is plastic.It did a great job on all of it and everything I threw at it. But this machine I am able to use, I just take breaks.It is no more effort than using an upright vacuum.And the PLUS for me is the smaller water and shampoo. My old one was so heavy that it separated the bottom of the plastic container from the top (a design flaw) and the model was discontinued so I was stuck.Since my limits physically this smaller one is wonderful I take a break when I run out, and I am not bothered to fill it a couple times if needed to do a whole room or one area twice.I needed something with steam.I have a blind cat and she missed the pee pad sometimes.I read the reviews, I watched the videos.When it arrived I already knew how to use it, but I still read the manual, and used it the same day.It does GREAT and so, so easy.There was something in a 2 inch area in my carpet. I was surprised because it wasn’t a fancy thing.But, I knew it needed desperately a new carpet cleaner.Let me set up my household. I have a man who for the life of me, doesn’t wipe his boots before coming into the house. We live in Florida, we have sand. But, when its wet, its a messy clob. He will also mow the grass, work on cars, work with building stuff, and we have chickens for eggs….THEN come strolling in and yeah, it gets dirty pretty bad. HaI also have, no judgment, 5 cats (3 rescues, 1 adopted my porch, then became family and 1 we still don’t know where it came from. Was only about 5 weeks old when found and is a simease cat *no simease cats around here* so, there’s 5 cats, 3 dogs. 1 is a 16 year old shih tzu, 1 is a spaniel *saved from the pound on last day left* and 1 great pyrenees.These carpets get their use. I don’t do the typical floor tiles thats popular in Florida. My feet don’t do hard surfaces. Ha.So, now that youre imagination a indoor petting zoo….its not, but the foot traffic…its a busy walking areas.I just used this marvelous carpet cleaner. The steam is definitely wonderful. I got small stains out that I couldn’t even scrub out with dawn dish soap and a scrub brush..with EASE! This just went over those areas ONCE and im like, whaaat?? WOW! GONE! No more spots, no stains.Soooooo easy to fill, soooo easy to clean and that brush is fantastic. It also DIDN’T keep even one strand, clump of pet hair on the brush. NOTHING got clogged up because of pet hair and it was so easy to refill mid job, and so easy to assemble. Its not heavy. Customer Review: I received my new Prolux Tritan vacuum about and a half ago. Upon picking up the box I was thinking, oh man, this is awful light for a real house vacuum. But when I opened it up and started taking the parts out I was immediately impressed with the stem, fairly thick metal with a nice length adjustment mechanism (I’m 6-2), and the joining of the hose to machine and accessories, very clean and well thought out, and made.When I turned it on I was truly impressed, it actually has too much suction on high and IMMEDIATELY stuck to an oriental rug, picking it up! Then I realized that the only noise is suction noise, the unit is virtually silent compared to the Kenmore Elite I was replacing. More power, far less noise, rolls smoother and the suction at half speed still easily exceeds the Kenmore for half the price or less.I am impressed, and that’s not easy. I can’t speak on its life expectancy, but it feels like it’s built to last.Also the cord return mechanism is robust, no need to help it along at all.If you’re looking for a good quiet vacuum with a lot of power and a well designed filter bag and Hepa filter combo, the Prolux Tritan is a very strong American product, buy it!

Customer Review: I needed a lightweight vac with great suction. I purchased an upright that cost twice as much as the Prolux and sent it back after two minutes because it was cheap and difficult to use. Read tons of reviews on Amazon and chose this little beauty. When it first arrived, I thought, Oh, no, it’s just like my little Bissell. Very very similar design except this one is white and a bit smaller. The Bissell is black. I don’t know which company designed the product, but it would seem that Bissell tried to copy this very effective little vac because although the features are very similar, the performance is not the same. I used to run the Bissell over and over the same spots before I finally would give up and just pick up the dirt and put it in the trash. The Prolux sucked the heck out of my floors, carpets, walls and most important of all, the corners where those pesky spiders live. (Got bit by a brown recluse two weeks ago. Fortunately, my neighbor gave me some bentonite clay which I mixed with apple cider vinegar and made a paste that I applied every 6 hours for 3 days – it completely healed and it was a nasty looking wound. Bentonite clay is good stuff to keep on hand for any bites.)Anyway, back to this vac. I could actually feel it sucking the hardwood floors. I like the dial where you can leave it on the quiet minimum setting which is still a lot of suction. The higher suction is serious. Usually, I hate vacuuming because I don’t like the noise, but this vac cleans so well I don’t mind the little whistling it makes when it’s on the max setting. The only negative is the accessory tools have a little holder but there’s no place to really attach it where they don’t fall off. The performance makes up for that inconvenience. I just stuck the crevice device in my pocket and carried it with me.Another plus is the bag situation. When you close the door, the hose fits directly into the bag. You can’t make a mistake and get it wrong. And the filters are easy to clean or change. The vac came with 5 extra bags so I am set for a while. This little vac is well worth the money, I think. I’ll have to see how it does over the long term, but I have high expectations. The Bissell is going to the thrift store as a donation.

Customer Review: Just do it!(Mid-pile carpet, stairs, car seats, upholstery…. is there anything it doesnt do and do WELL for that matter.)Step 1 order, also order replacement Shark soap and Shark oxidizer, receive shipment & open boxStep 2 READ ALL THE DIRECTIONS THOROUGHLY. I get that this part sucks and borders an anxiety attack for some of us. Just do it! You will be glad you did.Follow one step at a time.Step 3 VACUUM whatever you are cleaning first with your vacuum cleaner.Step 4 Start it up, follow the directions and give it a go. *Try it out on a less important spot first, to get a feel for how long to spray/dry/etc. (The longer you sit over an area the wetter it gets but it really does dry reasonably fast.)Step 5 use a fan to circulate air and run the heater or A/C let dry for a few hours.VIOLA! All clean! Praise Jesus!P.S. Just as the instructions state… some users prefer to perform a “rinse” cycle after a cleaning.From what I experienced, if you have a heavily soiled area you might clean that area, then use the “dry” setting, and let the area completely, until fully dry. Then perform another cleaning cycle or rinse, followed by a “dry” cycle again, once again allowing it to fully dry. This will help prevent over saturation of the carpet or padding below, or too deep below the upholstery surface of the item you’re cleaning while still achieving a fully clean rug/carpet/chair/auto seats/etc. If you really need to get it wet and get in there, I found if I went over that section using the hose attachment to suck up the majority of the liquid and then came back with the “dry” setting to suck up the remaining liquid that worked pretty great too!The hand-held spot treater does a great job and will not overly wet an area if you spray with a fast sweeping motion over the area, repeating to reach the desired saturation.Follow the instructions and take your time sucking up the liquid. Does a great job!** Only drawback… the pet attachment must remain FLAT or nearly flat, or it will not work right. So if you need to scrub pet-“ick”/human-“ick”, then first use the regular hose attachment to spray that area. Then TURN OFFFFF the carpet cleaner and use the scrubber on the standard hose attachment on the spot you are treating. After giving it a good scrub, remove the standard hose attachment. Then attach the pet hose attachment. Now, turn on the vacuum and spray/suck up the liquid until clean. Also, keep an eye on the “FULL” line on the pet resevoir to make sure the pet-“ick” doesn’t end up getting in your vacuum hose making it stink.After you are done, follow the instructions and take nearly every part off. It is SUPER EASY & STRAIGHT FORWARD! You can clean nearly every part with some warm dish soap in the TUB/BUCKET/SINK/DRIVEWAY/ETC. with a scrub brush/sponge/rag/running water/hose.It seems really complicated the first time you run it, but after that first use & cleaning you will find it is SUPER SIMPLE to use & clean.
