Customer Reviews
Customer Review: I’ve been using the Uninell UR3 for over a week. After experiencing it, I’m very impressed and amazed by the following results: 1. The robot intelligently navigates and operates according to saved maps. It stores up to 5 maps. 2. It has a powerful suction of 7000Pa and a brush speed of 20,000 RPM. The robot will automatically increase carpet suction by up to 200% for deeper cleaning. 3. The large battery capacity allows for continuous operation and automatic charging. 4. Especially noteworthy is its quiet operation; if a problem occurs during operation, the robot will automatically shut off to protect the machine from damage. I feel very confident and secure when I go to work; it works diligently according to schedule (I can see it working through the security camera). When I return home, the floors are always clean. I recommend this to anyone considering buying a quality robot vacuum cleaner; it’s a reliable and reasonable option in the under $300 price range. It won’t disappoint.
Customer Review: This is a great robot vacuum! Easy to set up and works wonderfully. The LiDAR system allows for accurate mapping of the area and precise cleaning. Obstacles are easily navigated and the vacuum never gets tangled or snagged. The mopping function is easy to install. 2 mopping pads are included with the vacuum. This is a powerful and efficient vacuum, empties itself after every use. Battery life is good, but because of it’s efficiency, cleans my area in less than an hour. Additionally, the vacuum becomes a nice vehicle for cat to ride! This is an amazingly effective vacuum and a good value for it’s price. I’m very happy with this purchase and would recommend this product.

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: Arrived next day! Safely and securely packaged. Almost no assembly. Instructions were clear. It operates as a robot damp mop with water and pad or vacuum. Comes with extra filter and spinners. It runs seemingly forever. And picked up stuff from the floor we had never seen before! We have hardwood floors + oriental rugs and had no issues with tassels at all even though directions said to tuck them which we didn’t do. It somehow found the charging station from three rooms away! We have had four Roombas two currently in action. It runs much smoother, with zero hangups in our home (the Roombas do get stuck under things) It’s quieter and vacuums better. We had just vacuumed with a Dyson which was full at end of session and was STUNNED at how much ROPVACNIC picked up afterwards. The container was FULL! Amazing. For this price it is a steal. Very happy with our purchase. With regard to floor washing. It has a chamber you put water or cleaning solution in. There’s a pad which glides along the floor cleans, sanitizes and damp mops. The reservoir feeds water to the pad. This is not intended for carpets just floors. Great to have both features in one very inexpensive machine! It also comes with and app or remote control which lets you control it! Fun Fun! Perfect for the elderly or people who are unable to use a vacuum or mop. Mom uses it. She’s 95!
Customer Review: Living with my dog and a fluffy cat means my floors are never clean for more than 5 minutes. This robot vacuum cleaner changed quickly. The 5200Pa suction is seriously strong, it sucks up fur balls, kibble crumbs the dog drops, dust, everything, and that special pet hairbrush is Zero tangles so far (I was impressed). The adjustable electric mopping is awesome on my tiles, I crank it up for sticky spots and it leaves no streaks, just shiny clean. It dodges toys, bowls, and random pet stuff like a champ with that obstacle avoidance, and it auto-docks perfectly every time without me babysitting it. Apps are easy, I set schedules from my phone, use Alexa to start it when I’m lazy, or the remote if I want. Multiple modes, custom settings make it fit whatever mess we’ve got that day. Pretty quiet too, doesn’t scare the cat. If you’ve got furry animals making you crazy like mine do, this is worth every penny. No regrets.

I was impressed by how straightforward the setup process was; you can just connect the station to power and start cleaning immediately. For the best results, I recommend clearing furniture or any obstacles from the floor beforehand. This allows the vacuum to navigate more efficiently and ensure every corner gets a deep clean. The R7 is great at avoiding obstacles. It moves around furniture, avoids bumping into things, and gets out of tight spots without getting stuck. The vacuum automatically goes back to its charging dock when it’s done cleaning or when the battery is low. I don’t have to worry about it running out of power in the middle of cleaning. I love that I can personalize the cleaning settings using the app. I can schedule cleanings, set areas the vacuum should avoid, and even control it when I’m not at home. Customer Reviews
Customer Review: This is probably the best robot vacuum machine I used, the cleaning result is so good. We had used it for a few months, it makes my floor house work a piece of cake. The 6000Pa suction power is incredible, vacuuming all the visible dirt in a second without me holding a handle and working hard. The mop function is also great, my wood floor turns neat and shiny quickly, it’s like a very smart robot doing its job as a routine and returning to the station automatically. The self-cleaning function is quite outstanding, it is an advanced vacuum robot for modern homes, and I can’t wait to explore more functions of it through the APP.
Customer Review: The media could not be loaded. We have been wanting a robot vacuum for a long time now as we have a golden retriever and it is almost impossible to keep up with the amount of hair he sheds. This vacuum has been great. The lidar detection works really well and we are continuously surprised by its ability to avoid objects and maneuver around. The directions are not as clear as they could be, but I realized this is partially because the vacuum is pretty much plug and play. When you turn it on and open up the app it pretty much does everything for you. It begins mapping your house immediately without you needing to do anything. The mapping within the app is really nice, you can go in and name rooms, split rooms apart, and setup no go zones for mopping or for vacuuming and mopping. The app also lets you select different ways to clean, whether that’s by room, by zone or auto. The vacuum itself works great and is designed to get in every nook and cranny. You can set your suction on a few different settings, we have ours on high since there is so much dog hair in our house. A few downsides of the vacuum is that if you do have a lot of dog hair like us you are going to deal with your brush getting tangled in hair, if you check it regularly you should be able to deal with it. Additionally because of the amount of dog hair we have needed to empty the collector more often. We let it clean our entire bottom floor when we first got it and it got clogged because there was too much hair for the station to suck out when it docked. However, there is an option in the app to send the vacuum to dust collect whenever you want to help avoid this. The additional mopping feature is one of the reasons we chose this vacuum, where it is nice it does not work quite as well as I would like it to. It definitely mops but I would consider it more of a light mopping than a thorough one. Overall, the vacuum works great and for the price point you really can’t beat it, I highly recommend this vacuum even with the few downsides it’s more than worth it.

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: This is the best robot vacuum on the market. Period. Ive had an iRobot and a Roborock. The iRobot was a decent cleaner but had horrible navigation. The Roborock had excellent navigation but cleaned horrendously. The Roborock actually made my apartment look worse as left these dust bunnies all over so the navigation is pointless if it cant clean. The Shark is perfect in my mind. Best cleaning i have ever seen from a robot vacuum and navigation is great (not quite as good as Roborock) it cleans the 600 sq. ft. area I have it set to clean in 1 hour. It navigates a space with multiple obstructions and different surface levels and not once have I gotten a notification about it being stuck or lost. Another unique feature: is the dust bin. It is a reusable dust bin that you can empty yourself and reuse. No need to buy these 1 time use dust bags that all the other brands require. Massive cost savings over time. The app has all the features you need. Set a cleaning schedule, create rooms, create no go zones, set suction level. Simple but thats all you need. Bottom Line: I need a vacuum that cleans my place effectively and does it without me ever having to think about it. The Shark is the only robot vacuum that has been able to deliver on this. The schedule is set and when I get home my apartment is clean. Buy this vacuum if thats what you need.
Customer Review: Been using robot vacuums for almost a decade and have never had one this good. Pet hair no problem, doesn’t bump into anything, doesn’t get stuck, self empties, efficient, docks itself easily, and amazing suction power for a robot vacuum. Great on both wood floors and carpet. Does a fantastic job with no babysitting. I can’t say enough about this vacuum and honestly I’m amazed at how well it cleans.

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: Before this, I had the original Mint Automatic Robotic Hardwood Floor Cleaner. It was fine for its time, but it could only sweep and mop in a very basic way, with no mapping or smart features. When it finally broke, I decided to buy a new one. This new robot feels like a completely different world—much stronger suction, a real mop that leaves my floors looking fresh, and smart navigation that actually covers the whole room instead of bumping around randomly. Like other users mentioned, it was SUPER easy to set up, and now I just let it run while I do other things. Coming back to clean floors without lifting a finger feels amazing. It vacuums my hardwood floor well and mops my kitchen and living room floors so much better than I expected. It’s not too loud, the battery lasts a long time, and it always finds its way back to the charger without getting lost. Honestly, it just makes life easier. If you’re on the fence, go for it—you’ll be glad you did! If there’s anything to improve, I’d suggest making the robot’s voice announcements clearer—I still can’t quite tell if it says ‘start cleaning’ or ‘start thinking’ when it begins. 🙂
Customer Review: I absolutely love this robot vacuum and use it almost every single day! It does a fantastic job vacuuming—keeps my floors noticeably cleaner with very little effort on my part. It picks up dust, crumbs, pet hair, and everyday messes far better than I expected. The mopping feature is okay, not a deep scrub, but it’s perfect for light maintenance and keeping floors fresh between full cleanings. For me, that’s exactly what I wanted. What I love most is the convenience—I can just press a button and go about my day while it cleans. It’s saved me so much time and keeps my home looking consistently tidy. It navigates well, gets into tight spaces, and goes back to charge without issues. Overall, this has been one of my favorite purchases. If you’re looking for a reliable robot vacuum for everyday cleaning with a bonus mop feature, this one is absolutely worth it!
Complete Buying Guide for Best Automatic Vacuum For Carpet
Essential Factors We Consider
When choosing a robot vacuum for carpets, suction power is king—look for at least 2000Pa for low-pile carpets and 4000Pa+ for thick plush. Auto carpet boost is a crucial feature that automatically increases suction when carpet is detected. Navigation technology matters too: LiDAR provides the most accurate mapping, while camera-based systems work well in good lighting. For pet owners, a tangle-free brushroll and large dustbin are essential. If you want minimal maintenance, a self-emptying station with at least 30-day capacity is worth the investment.

Robot vacuums range from $200 for basic models to over $1000 for premium ones. For carpets, we recommend budgeting at least $300-$500 for a reliable model with decent suction and navigation. The self-emptying feature adds $100-$200 but saves significant maintenance time. Remember to factor in replacement costs for filters, brushes, and mopping pads (about $50-$100 annually). If you also need to clean your car, consider a dedicated car vacuum—our guides to the best car vacuum for pet hair and best vacuum cleaner for a car show affordable portable options that complement your home robot.
Final Thoughts
The best automatic vacuum for carpet balances power, intelligence, and convenience. Our top pick, the Self-Emptying Robot Vacuum and Mop with 7000Pa, offers professional-grade cleaning with months of maintenance-free operation. For budget buyers, the ROPVACNIC delivers surprising performance at a fraction of the cost. Remember that no robot vacuum replaces deep cleaning entirely—monthly manual vacuuming of high-pile carpets is still recommended. But for daily maintenance, these smart machines are game-changers that keep carpets looking fresh with zero effort.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can robot vacuums clean thick plush carpets effectively?
A: Yes, but you need strong suction (4000Pa+) and large wheels. Look for models with auto carpet boost that automatically increases power when carpet is detected. Very thick shag carpets may still challenge even the best robots, so check customer reviews specifically mentioning your carpet type.
Q: How often should I empty a self-emptying robot vacuum?
A: Most self-emptying stations hold 30-90 days of debris depending on your home’s dirt level and pet shedding. For homes with multiple pets, plan to empty every 30-60 days. The station’s dustbag should be replaced every 2-3 months typically.
Q: Do robot vacuums damage carpet fibers?
A: Quality robot vacuums are designed with soft rubber wheels and gentle brushrolls that won’t damage carpets. However, very delicate or antique rugs should be protected with no-go zones. Always check your carpet manufacturer’s recommendations regarding robotic vacuums.
Q: Should I vacuum before using a robot vacuum?
Q: Can robot vacuums handle pet hair on carpets?
A: Absolutely—especially models with tangle-free brushrolls and strong suction (5000Pa+). Look for rubber brushrolls that resist hair wrapping. Empty the dustbin more frequently if you have multiple shedding pets, and consider a self-emptying model to minimize contact with allergens.
