Customer Review: This is a long one, but it’s worth the read if you’re doing some serious shopping for a vacuum cleaner:I picked this up in October so I’ve been using it for a few months just to get a genuine sense of how this vacuum really performed and I am absolutely impressed! This beats my Dyson AND my Kirby hands down. Superior suction, amazing maneuverability, lighter than either the Kirby or the Dyson. ( If you’re wondering why I own so many vacuums, I clean for a living.) I bought this for the house. I have two cats and a husband who’s into Warhammer so you know there are sprew bits and cat hair everywhere and this thing handles it like a champ! I wasn’t sold on how small the floor attachment was until I used it: I can get underneath my barstools so much easier now and my entire house ( approx. 2000 sq ft.) is done in 20 minutes, tops! There is a learning curve, but that’s something you get with any new vacuum. I was also super impressed by the ease with which I can switch from floor to handheld attachments. Some of these other vacuums I’ve used are so bulky and difficult to handle all the small attachments… Not this one! I’m able to switch back and forth from floor to handheld quick, fast and in a hurry. Bonus points that it’s lightweight. I’m not killing myself just to vacuum my house. It’s really saved my back! And it was so much less expensive than the Dyson or the Kirby. The window on the floor attachment gives me a clear view of the roller brush ( yeah, it makes me accountable which is a good thing. It’s harder to ignore when I can see it so thanks for that, too. ). The cord is a tad short, so I went ahead a bought a small extension cord to go with it, but other than that, I’m very impressed! I wish I had bought this years ago. I will never buy another vacuum from anyone else other than Shark again. Good job, guys! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a serious little vacuum.

Don’t let the price or name fool you, this easily out performs the Dysons in many ways. The Dyson(s) this is replacing is the DC07 Animal and DC27 ball vacuum. I have no regrets. It’s compact design, powerful suction, swivel steering maneuverability and detachable tools, make it easy to vacuum the smaller areas of an RV or apartment but big enough to use cleaning your home.It’s lightweight and easy to clean catch basin, makes cleaning seem less of a chore. I was not expecting too much from this for $85 and I was looking at the Shark model like this one and noticed this one has 600 watts of power where the Shark has 500. There was not much difference except this one is $100 cheaper, so I gave it a go. Of course, as soon as it came, I had to try it out, I am like a kid at Christmas. The suction is amazing, sometimes too amazing on very thin carpet with no padding, lol. I am really, really happy with this, and if it lasts me a year, I will have gotten my money’s worth. Also, I love the little notes and reassurances from manufacturer on standing behind their product if anything does go wrong, fingers crossed. Only bad thing, it doesn’t really like to stand up by itself, which is really not that big of a deal for me, so I just lay it on something, so I don’t have to constantly bend to get it off the floor. It is very light which is great for people with arthritis in their hands, it swivels great, cord length is never long enough for me, but is 23 ft. I don’t know about durability yet, I’ve only had it for a day. But I already Love it!!!

Customer Review: Update- This vacuum is complete garbage! Have had 2 now in 3 months and both have broken! Hair gets twisted around roller and its nearly impossible to get free so then roller won’t spin which means its useless!Not many corded stick vacuums out there so went with this 1. It works well, has a very bright light. Design does have some flaws- the cord placement makes it difficult to empty, the filter needs alot of attention, biggest flaw is that its almost entirely made of plastic! I had a huge issue but reached out to seller per messaging and they handled the problem quickly. Still don’t know what type of manufacturer warranty comes with this vacuum and I hope this replacement last longer.

Customer Review: For the price this is the best vacuum I’ve ever owned! It came neatly packaged. It was easy to put together. I’ve had it for 6 months now and the suction still works great! Love how it swivels in every direction possible so I can make tight turns at the last second! This is super light weight compared to Dyson! The pet hair remover is amazing and is very powerful! I use the attachments on the stairs all the time. Yes, you’ll need to use the hose for baseboards, but most vacuums are like that. My only complaint is the attachments fall off the vacuum while running it. Not sure how to fix that unless I remove them. Other than that, this vacuum works like a charm!

Customer Review: I am a janitor. I have been buying Bissel for the past 18 months. The first, a much cheaper model, lasted 1 year. Then I bought one that was a bit more expensive, by $20 or so. I am still using that one, but the bottom plate came off. It still sucks up very well, but it is loud, perhaps because the bottom broke off. I am using it only for floor 1 and lobby. It sucks up the winter salt crystals that are copiously strewn on the grounds and tracked into the building.Thi latest model is more expensive, almost $200, and I am loving it. It has a HEPA filter — the others did not. It purrs quietly, and performs well.This model allows me to disconnect the vacuum from its base to use the hose to get dust and the like above the floor. It also has settings for floor and carpet.This model is VERY easy to put together. Usage is straightforward. Once you turn it on, gently place your foot on the base as you position the handle for vacuuming.

Customer Review: I’ve been using a Shark cordless for a few years, but had to reconcile to the fact that with pets, the suction and ability to get all the dirt and pet hair is just not quite enough. Broke down and bought this Shark corded vacuum and O.M.G!!! Day and night difference, and the suction on this one is fierce! I was shocked at what it collected on my first go around. I love Shark products, and I’ll hang onto the cordless for small, quick vacuum needs, but for deep cleaning? This one is unreal! I feel like my house is so much cleaner. Customer Review: I have been needing a new vacuum for AGES now, my old one only really worked with the handheld suction tube as the main roller head was not working as well as it used to, so this was a long time coming. I saved up and searched around and got this baby b/c of the petmate attachments. I’d just adopted some kitties back in January so my living room, kitchen rugs, and bedrooms were a fuzzy mess from the cats and no proper vacuum to clean up after them. Needless to say I was excited to get this one. I wasted zero time when it arrived to get it out and get cleaning. Putting it together is super easy and intuitive. It’s lightweight and swivels nicely as well. Not overly so either like some vacuums that jacknife themselves, this one swivels and allows you to still manage control of it. It has 3 settings on the power button, OFF, No spin on the roller brush and then the roller brush spin setting. So it’s easy when you need to go over tiles or hard flooring to turn off the roller brush and flick it back on when you’re over carpet again. This vacuum is very powerful for how lightweight it is compared to my other bagless that its replacing.I ended up emptying it halfway through my vacuuming adventure just in case, but the container probably could’ve stood to be filled a bit further from the point where I emptied it. So I ended up emptying it twice with the container about 75% full of dust and fluff and fur each time. As you can see by the picture that’s just from the second emptying, the first is a ball bigger than that below it. My hallway rug changed colors from dulled colors to bright and clean once this thing got to it lol. It got out dirt I didn’t realize was still stuck to it! This thing handled all debris like a champ. Fur, loose litter, crumbled paper, a few stray feathers from my pillows, and the different thicknesses of the carpet, and the rugs in my kitchen and hallway.The entire time I was vacuuming I kept laughing and joking to myself that I felt like I was in a friggin TV commercial with how amazed I was at how well this thing was performing and each new feature I discovered with it. LOL.The kitchen rug pictured is a thick almost shag-like rug and the vacuum has a suction power slider that I could have probably used so it didn’t have as strong of a suction on that rug as it did, even with the higher power suction it still handled that rug like a champ. It didn’t snag or eat the rug at all and got it more clean than I’ve seen it in years. It was able to travel over and clean any surface in my apartment, linoleum, carpet, thick shag rug, even my yoga mat it breezed over with the brush without scratching it up.Needless to say, I’m super super pleased with this vacuum, holy cow. The only slight issue I had was the petmate attachment that has the little roller; when I was using it on a pillow and the couch cushions I noticed if I pressed down with it, the pressure from the pillows stopped the roller from moving as it seems to be powered by the suction power of the vacuum itself. I’m not sure if I am supposed to vacuum with it in a certain manner to avoid this issue or if it’s intentional. The plus side is it means nothing can get damaged and jam it up if it gets pulled in since the roller stops with any solid pressure, I was able to stop it with my hand even without injury. I need to fiddle with that attachment a little more I think to get the hang of it. But the vacuum came with a dual brush attachment as well and one side is a red felt-like bristly brush kind of side and that worked equally as good at getting the fur off the corduroy of the pillows. The handle part of the vacuum detaches from the body to provide you with a spot to hook the attachments to, or you can detach the whole arm wand if you need further reach as well.It’s super easy to clean as well as most bagless canister type vacuums are. The thing disassembles so easily with a few button presses that you can reach all the parts without having to tip the whole vacuum over to maintain it. The cannister comes away from the main body, has a flap at the bottom to empty it into the trash and then another button at the top that lets you open the top side of the cannister to pull out the center tube thing and shake off any gathered hair or dust in there as well. The center tube twists to lock into place so be careful you don’t yank on it without unlocking it first. You can see the little lock diagram on the inside of it to guide you. It also has a filter at the bottom of where the cannister sits on the body of the vacuum that you can take out to clean and wash. The arm wand that detaches is a comfortable length so I’m not stooping over to reach with it. My only wish is that the main floor roller had a plate that came loose so I can pull the whole roller out for easier cleaning, but unless I unscrew the ENTIRE faceplate, which I don’t want to do, I was left with snipping any coiled hair or fuzz from the roller while it was still attached. It wasn’t difficult to do as I can detach the vacuum head from the body, but it would be nice to be able to take the roller out in case I want to wash it or something.All in all I am super pleased with the results this vacuum has had on my very dirty apartment, and I couldn’t be happier. I definitely recommend getting this vacuum if you’re hesitating, it’s well worth the money.

Customer Review: I looked at lots of vacuums and read lots of reviews. This Eureka PowerSpeed NEU 180 sounded good, with lots of great reviews. I need something that will take care of pet hair (dog and a cat) and be simple to use and empty, and not require replaceable filters.A lot of reviewers showed how much hair the vac got up after using their old vacuum first. They were not kidding! I ran the Eureka over a short nap carpet about 15 x 15 feet, and the dust bin was nearly full of hair and dirt. it had only been a couple of days since I vacuumed with my old Rainbow. I am amazed! This thing is light and easy to maneuver, gets under the toe space and under the edges of furniture easily. It cleans right to the edge. Unlike any vacuum I ever had before, this is NOT noisy. I always wore hearing protectors with the old ones, and don’t even need them with this Not loud or obnoxious at all.The ease of dumping the dust bin is a big thing for me. I hesitated to use the Rainbow because you have to fill it with water, then find a place to dump the water/dirt/hair sludge. Then rinse and clean the cannister. My old Filter Queen used paper filters that need to be changed, and it was a nasty dusty mess to empty. Also very heavy. Also expensive: I paid something like $450 for that think way back in 1972!The new Eureka Was $78. Both the Filter Queen and Rainbow were getting problems, but still worked. I also have a Dirt Devil I bought years ago and used about twice and hated. (Want them? Come and get ’em for FREE.)I can’t find anything negative about the Eureka. I am looking forward to vacuuming the rest of the house and picking up a bushel of pet hair.Some notes on things previous reviewers complained about:Some folks talked about the hole in the end of the handle, and that the hose was too short. They must not have gotten the instructions with theirs. The handle doubles as a wand that extends the hose so you can reach furniture, drapes, etc. The Owner’s Use Manual that came with mine is great. Well Illustrated, thorough, and easy to understand. Another plus.Several people said the height adjustment did not work, and it either was too low and burned the carpet, or too high and wouldn’t clean. I checked min before using it, and the height adjustment wheels were indeed stuck and would not lower when you turned the knob. I called Customer Service right away. Got a person quickly who was very helpful. While she was taking my information, I kept fiddling with the height rollers, and it started working! I am not mechanically illiterate, but do not know why it unstuck or what was holding it to begin with. So, it works fine. I did find that Customer Service was very responsive.I will update this review if anything changes or problems arise.Maybe it is kind of sad that at this stage in life I get excited about a new vacuum (smile) but it is a real treat to find a great product at a great price that really works!
