Well Bosch is putting them on notice with its Unlimited series of vacuums, which is a major challenge to their stranglehold on the market.The good:The Unlimited vacuums all clean quite well, and they may even have the best build quality on the market, although long-term durability is a question mark. They have a sleek look and are easy to use. It was also a great move to have them use the same hot-swappable batteries that Bosch power tools use, since battery life is a huge problem with every stick-vac so it’s great to be able to change batteries on the fly. The bend on the Unlimited 10 works great and it comes with tons of accessories. Debris is very easily removed from the vacuum without a mess and it’s great that it can be compressed down on the fly with a lever. The vacuums have numerous attachments and are loaded with versatile features.

I like that Bissell gives to dog charities for every purchase. I like the vacuum is light and easy to use and does a wonderful job picking up everything. I put it together in about a minute and vacuumed a 4×4 section of carpet twice that was vacuumed with my old Dyson first. Wow, it picked up a full canister and a half of dirt, cat hair and dog hair!😬

Customer Review: OMG I think i’ve never had a good vacuum before. This one has so much power it changed the color of my carpet. First pass completely filled the tank where my old vacuum wouldn’t pick anything else up. The tank is super easy to take out and empty (all one enclosed piece). My old vacuum had three parts that fit together and all of them ended up with dirt in them despite the filters so this vacuum is so much cleaner and easier. It’s super easy to maneuver. It picks up all the fine pet hair that my old vacuum passed over. My only small peeve is that the accessories fall off of their posts easily. But really great vacuum for the price.

Love how it swivels in every direction possible so I can make tight turns at the last second! This is super light weight compared to Dyson! The pet hair remover is amazing and is very powerful! I use the attachments on the stairs all the time. Yes, you’ll need to use the hose for baseboards, but most vacuums are like that. My only complaint is the attachments fall off the vacuum while running it. Not sure how to fix that unless I remove them. Other than that, this vacuum works like a charm!

Customer Review: I am a janitor. I have been buying Bissel for the past 18 months. The first, a much cheaper model, lasted 1 year. Then I bought one that was a bit more expensive, by $20 or so. I am still using that one, but the bottom plate came off. It still sucks up very well, but it is loud, perhaps because the bottom broke off. I am using it only for floor 1 and lobby. It sucks up the winter salt crystals that are copiously strewn on the grounds and tracked into the building.Thi latest model is more expensive, almost $200, and I am loving it. It has a HEPA filter — the others did not. It purrs quietly, and performs well.This model allows me to disconnect the vacuum from its base to use the hose to get dust and the like above the floor. It also has settings for floor and carpet.This model is VERY easy to put together. Usage is straightforward. Once you turn it on, gently place your foot on the base as you position the handle for vacuuming.

Don’t let the price or name fool you, this easily out performs the Dysons in many ways… The “Lift-Away” canister allowing it to detach from the base is absolutely brilliant, and makes cleaning things like stairs, blinds, ceiling cobwebs etc. much easier. The speeds are low, high, and auto (Eco), so it’ll handle anything from light dust to thick dirt with ease.The vacuum has “auto” hard flooring (turns off vac head brushes) and then turns brushes back on “automatically” when on carpet. However, even on low suction, the suction is so good that it can still suck a door throw rug into the brush head. And for those hard to reach places under beds or furniture, this vac has a FANTASTIC 90 degree bend option built into the body of the vac for easier cleaning access.The vacuum head has LED lights to help see the debris that needs to be picked up but it also has a light circle on top of the vacuum that shows different colors to indicate if an area is clean or not.It has a time left indicator on top of the dust bin, located right below the vacuum’s top handle. This allows you to easily see how long the battery has left at each operating speed you are vacuuming.The vacuum comes with enough attachments that if you need anything cleaned in your house, you should not have any reason for not cleaning it. There is a learning curve, but that’s something you get with any new vacuum. I was also super impressed by the ease with which I can switch from floor to handheld attachments… Not this one! My daughter is moving into her own apartment for the first time and wanted the same Shark we already had. The super long hose on this item achieves the same thing and is way easier to use. Assembly was very easy and no tools were needed… As for the performance, it works really well. The ability to easily adjust the level of suction right from the handle means that I can go from a throw rug, to an area rug, to a wood floor quickly and easily. The swivel operates flawlessly and makes maneuvering a breeze. And the extension of the hose is great. To reach the ceiling, I don’t have to do any heavy lifting or stretching. The dust bin is quite large and is also easy to release and empty. This particular item might not have a tons of bells and whistles, but it just works. For 95% of my tasks, it’s all I need. And it is a great value! Every single one of my Shark vacuums are still working great, and I’m sure this item is no exception. For the price, it has everything I need and really exceeded my expectations once I used it. I don’t see any reason to spend three or fours times the cost of this item on any other vacuum, when this item does the job. Highly recommended!

Customer Review: I’ve now had this vacuum for a year, it is so well worth the money. I switched from my Dyson to this shark model. It’s easy to use, it’s easy to clean. The suction is the best I’ve ever seen in a vaccum. It’s lightweight. Lots of length to use attachments. The scent boosters work great. I can see where if I had dogs this would be great for the smell. The scent boosters also have levels you can set . I have cats and it collects the hair like no other vacuum. For noise level, I don’t think it’s loud. The quality of this baby is made built to last! I will never buy anything other vacuum. My only con is I wish I did this so much sooner!

Customer Review: We have had the Shark Navigator for so years or so. It is still running fine but we moved it upstairs to not have to be carrying one u and down to clean. The new one is better than the basic model we had. It has unbelievable suction and clean wonderfully. It is a bit harder to move and is a bit noisier. Perhaps because it is so new and needs to break in. I think the noise is from the self cleaning on the roller. However with two dogs and long haired women it is worth it. Highly recommend. I have had Dyson, Kirby, Electrolux and Sears over the years and NONE of them come close.
